NADA Bike began in 2009 as a Project M initiative dedicated to overcoming the barriers to bike adoption. NADA Bike is all about helping new bikers learn from and integrate with the larger bike community. It provides a frame (literally, a bike frame) that collects and generates knowledge and handy skills, getting people out of cars and confidently onto bikes. More than that, NADA Bike is a social crafting nexus, a place where human empowerment meets do-it-yourself crafting, utilizing the collaborative community of bike enthusiasts and bike beginners to spread ownership, craftsmanship, and comfort with alternative modes of urban transportation.
